My name is Aliena and I like to read, but sometimes what I want to read doesn't exist yet (or I can't find it), so I'm forced to write it.

I majored in English, minored in Adolescent Education, worked at a "big 5" publisher in NYC, then as a teacher in Mie, Japan. I love creatures, specifically cats and red pandas, but right now I want a veiled chameleon and a large aquatic plant tank.
